So, this interviewer asked to brainstorm ways to keep people from taking too many free company t-shirts. I proposed putting stocking them at consistent intervals but in variable amounts, or consistent amounts in variable intervals, or having an intern push around a cart of shirts through the building. I really liked that intern idea.
Anyway, he was like, interesting ideas, they remind me of BF Skinner.
I was like, oh, ok, like the Simpsons?
Uhhm, that's no, that's Principal Seymour Skinner. I'm talking about the well known behavioral psychologist.
Ohhh, ok, yeah...
Later I told my mom about my gaffe, and she was like,
Please, you know BF Skinner. With the box and the dogs?
What dogs?
Then she went on to describe the work of well known Russian psychologist, Ivan Pavlov.
So that's where I get it from.
